Different times require different methods, different problems ask for different solutions. In an era without much sense or reason, without a clear path if not one toward annihilation, old morality becomes an excerpt, a footnote in the abysmal history of mankind. Moral Excerpt is born out of all of this unrelenting decay, a devilish creature without a stable place in time and space. Francesco Presotto, already know as the mind behind the noise outfit Geometria Nervosa and the mutant techno project Søulless, unites forces with music reviewer, underground composer and copywriter Davide Pappalardo a.k.a. Førgotten and Abismø, going one step further in the pursuit of modern noise music with roots in the past. By mixing harsh noise, ambient, orchestral music, rhythmic mantras, they want to achieve a sound with a purpose and far from both today's fashionable scenes and tiresome clichés. Expect a score for our age, sonic comments about politics, society, inner turmoils, and the violent side of existence — rage, melancholy, confusion, moments of epiphany picture a contradictory world with nothing certain but death.
