Birthday Club is the project of Houston, TX based musician, songwriter and producer, Stephen Wells. Summoning an off-kilter, kaleidoscopic incarnation of bedroom pop, Wells swirls together lush vocal harmonies and shimmering guitars with a sinister backdrop of brooding synthesizers.

Following the release of the Birthday Club's debut EP, "Lighten Up," Wells and his touring band embarked on several national tours, including appearances at major festivals like SXSW Official, In-Bloom & Savannah Stopover. The buzz generated by these early efforts caught the attention of NPR's Arts & Letters Radio, which then commissioned Stephen for the creation of two original scoring productions. These musical productions would serve as the catalyst for the writing and recording process of Birthday Club's recently released debut album, "Obscure Emotion."
