Hallomann Hald
Real name: Carl Theodor Ytteborg Hald
Norwegian radio personality, 1886-1966. Employed at NRK where he was Norway's first "Hallomann" (announcer/presenter), which earned him his nickname. Pre-WW2 he was the most famous/recognisable voice on Norwegian radio, however his decision to stay on with NRK during the Nazi occupation of Norway, meant that he was never again allowed on air once the war was over.
