Author, composer, performer, poet and dancer choreographer, Top-One Frisson took his first steps in music in 1987 in the Congo, within his first group Velsy-Kimpiala.
After studying in Algeria (1993-1997), without news of his parents, following the war which affected the Congo, he decided to settle in France. He joined the group Jeunes Premiers with whom he recorded two award-winning albums. : Nouvelle Gamme (African revelation in 1998) and Premillenium (nominated in the Best African Group category at the Tropic's Awards 2000, MJTX).
