Real name: Ferdinand Kaufmann

Violin player and conductor born 1877 in Anspach near Frankfurt, Germany, died 1938 in Berlin, Germany.
Studied violin at the Dr. Hoch's Konservatorium in Frankfurt.
From 1924 on he was conductor of the "Berliner Rundfunk-Unterhaltungsorchester".
From 1926 on he conducted under the artist name "Ferdy Kauffman" a so called "Salon Orchester" and produced recordings with Electrola and other record labels until 1934/35.
