Alex (5) was born in Portimão (Portugal) in 1934. He started his musical career in Africa: Mozambique, Angola, South Africa and Zimbabwe. In 1965, back in Portugal, he worked as Alex, O Fabuloso, joining in 1970 the band Reactores and performing in Europe, Brazil and Japan. His last hit was the song "Mr. Gay".
