Belgian symphonic orchestra, founded in 1936 by Désiré Defauw and based in Brussels. Its principal concert venue is the Palais Des Beaux-Arts, Brussels/Bozar, Brussels.
Before 2017 it was known in Dutch as Nationaal Orkest van België and in French as Orchestre National de Belgique. That year the name officially changed into the English Belgian National Orchestra.
