Bent Gastropod Omnibus was a project of then Christchurch-based musician Peter Wright from 1990 and 1993. Coinciding with his involvement with T.M.A-1, the guise provided Wright with an outlet for detritus created by the larger group's prolific recording activities, and a testing ground for his experiments with cut-ups and noise.
