Active between early 1994 and early 1997, leonard Nimoy was the second major group project of Christchurch, New Zealand's kRkRkRk label; with Tycho Magnetic Anomaly One being the first. Initially formed by David Khan and Peter Wright, the group would eventually evolve into a four-piece with the addition of Tracey Pagey in 1994 and Mikel Goodwin in 1995. During their existence, the group explored a number of musical directions, before ultimately arriving at an industrial-noise / dirge-rock sound, with a drum-machine / guitar backbone enlivened by acoustic skin and metal percussion.
