Mogambo is the collaborative brainchild of Sunju Hargun and Swiss multi-instrumentalist Jerome Doudet, both located in Thailand with a shared love of acid electronica, Bollywood movies and big psychedelic gongs. The name derives from the villain in the famous 80’s bollywood cult movie Mr. India (1987), a brilliant yet insane retired army general whose quote "Mogambo khush hua" ("Mogambo is pleased") is one of the most famous Bollywood quotes.
