The Pipes And Drums were formed in 1920 by the Royal Scots Grey, but were only recognized in 1947. Following the amalgamation of the Royal Scots Greys with the 3rd Carabiniers, the band became know as The Pipes And Drums Of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers And Greys).
