A fullerene is a Carbon-60 molecule named after Buckminster Fuller, and the Fullerenes are geeks. The Fullerenes were officially born in Nov. '97 at Flint's Local 432. Sounding something like early-60's pop filtered through 90's post-punk, the Fullerenes have been described as "speed bubblegum." Imagine the rich harmonies and upbeat melodies of vintage power pop, backed by the jangling guitars and driving beat of anti-grunge garage.
