Bobby BeauSoleil was born on November 6, 1947, in Santa Barbara, California. He is known for his involvement in "The Manson Family" and, beginning in 1967, working with Kenneth Anger on Lucifer Rising.

In 1969, Bobby Beausoleil killed Gary Hinman. In 1970, Beausoleil was convicted of first-degree murder; in 1972, his death sentence was commuted to life imprisonment when California temporarily abolished the death penalty.
