Russian dark ambient/electronic project. Started in 2007 in Moscow, Russia by Ilia Shengelia. In 2012 relocated to Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Since 2014 changed style from dark ambient to techno.

Since May 2023 changed named to just "ownsi" (official capitalization).

Also former member of Vdvzh.
Founder of OLNlabel.

Other projects: Electro Ann (originally Electro Anus) (multigenre electronic (techno, house, ambient, breakbeat), started in 2004), Glass Paper (downtempo, started in 2006).

Project name "Ownsi Lense" is a rephrasing/word play on "Own Silence".
