Fayyaz Hashmi
Real name: فیاض ہاشمی
Fayyaz Hashmi was an Urdu/Pakistani poet and dialogue writer who worked both in the Indian and the Pakistani film industry.He penned some memorable songs & ghazals. Indian singer Talat Mahmood gained fame from a ghazal called Tasveer Teri Dil Mera Behela Nah Sake Gi, back in 1941 and this ghazal was instrumental in introducing him to the Calcutta film industry.
