Maryvonne Le Dizes
Real name: Maryvonne Le Dizès

French violin player. She studied at the 'Conservatoire National de Musique' in Paris, where she was best in class for violin and chamber music. In 1962, she won the 'Grand Prix Niccolò Paganini' as first female artist. In 1983, she was awarded with the 'American Music Prize' as first female and first person from outside the USA. Additionlly, she won the French 'Grand Prix SACEM' in 1987.She teaches at the 'Conservatoire Boulogne-Billancourt' since 1977 and starting from 1978, she was a member of Ensemble InterContemporain and also played as a solist, conducted by Pierre Boulez.
