US psych beat / rock band from Maryland (USA). Evolved from the 1960s bands The Serfs, then became The Group around 1969, then Badge, recording 3 singles and an EP in the early 1970s. When they recorded an LP in the Summer of 1974 they decided to use the band name Kath. Recording began on 1974-03-31 and ended 1974-09-05, with Cheese Sollers, Brent Buckley, Bruce Lapier, Bob George and Val Rogolino.
