David Reinhardt
French Guitarist
He is the son of Babik Reinhardt and the grandson of Django Reinhardt.
He made his debut at the age of six accompanied by his father Babik Reinhardt, in Djangodor in 1993. Since then, he has played in many gypsy jazz bands with the new gypsy trio of Christian Escoudé (where he takes back the place of his father), but also Noé Reinhardt, Romane, Stochelo Rosenberg...
At the same time, he created the David Reinhardt Trio in 2008. The current trio, with Yoann Serra on drums and Florent Gac on the Hammond organ, is far removed from the manouche style.
In 2015, David returned to Bible school feeling a call to preach the good news , he prepared to be a pastor but did not give up music.
David Reinhardt worked closely with Étienne Comar on the film Django.
