The Cooldown Café is actually a party venue located at the Leidseplein in Amsterdam, but the brand name is also used for a number of mix CDs (see: The Cooldown Café series) and for a novelty music act that has been releasing singles since the year 2000, starting with Hey Baby (Uhh, Ahh), which reached the top spot in the Dutch charts early in 2001.

The group originally consisted of bar workers of the venue, but later included singers Rob Ronalds and Danny Lit, DJ Frank Van Bemmelen, and dancers Angela van Der Vlist and Masha Koekenbier. The most recent incarnation still includes Van Bemmelen and Van der Vlist, who are married together, now with Danny Terp as the vocalist.
