Hayelala (Hebrew: היללה), which translates as "The Howl", is a band from the north of Israel with a mesmerizing human odyssey of poetics, groove, and sound.
They play original folkloric music, which takes its time and movement from the houses of prayer and the gospel, the trumpets of the saints, Chinese calligraphy, and as well as from the never-ending enchantment of the earth - grass, sea, rock, lightning, thunder, and morning stars. The band performs the compositions and songs of Nitay Kelly, the lead singer of the band. The songs are hymns, lamentations, and prayers to the mystery that may help carry the wounded to this miracle.
