British harmonica player, based in Germany. Born and raised in London, he has been a full-time musician since 1975. He has developed his own style over decades, combining traditional blues playing with elements from other genres. Thus he creates a modern sound that can be seen as a bridge from the blues roots into the modern age. He has participated in many sessions as a studio musician, is a welcome guest on stages on every continent, and is a figurehead on this instrument.
