Real name: Hermine Lechner-Fasching née Karner

Austrian singer and "Wienerlied" lyricist. She graduated from 'Konservatorium für Musik und darstellende Kunst'. In 1951 she married to Walter Lechner, with whom she performed 'Wienerlieder' in Das Elite Trio. After her second marriage to Franzl Fasching in 1977 she performed with her husband as duo Hermi Lechner-Franz Fasching. She became honorary president of the Austrian 'Association of Lyric Authors' and in 2005 received a professorship. She was a member of the supervisory board of AKM Austria.
