A lyricist, producer, actor from West Oakland (Acorns), California who founded Hobo Junction, a hip hop group, and was a member of Digital Underground.For the last few years he is using a wheelchair after a plane accident. Saafir had to jump off a plane on fire but he jumped before the slide fully inflated and wound up jolting his lower back as his feet hit the ground.
