Real name: Armando Domínguez Borrás

Mexican composer and bandleader (January 4, 1921 - May 17, 1985).
He was born in San Cristobal de Las Casas , in the state of Chiapas and died in Mexico City.

His parents were Abel Ramirez Dominguez and Amalia Moreno Dominguez Borras. Two of his brothers, Abel Dominguez and Alberto Dominguez , were also recognized musicians and composers, and with Chamaco, were founding members of the SACM (Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico). One of his most popular compositions was 'Miénteme' (Lie to Me)
