Swedish mezzo-soprano, born 3 April 1928 in Stockholm, Sweden. Died 14 April 2020.

Engagement as a soloist at the Kungliga Operan (Royal Swedish Opera) in Stockholm 1953-1962, 1965-1966 and 1969. Her international career began with a guest appearance in Barcelona in 1957, continued in Salzburg from 1958, Berlin's Deutsche Oper from 1960, and Mexico City in 1961. In 1962 she debuted as Brangäne in Tristan und Isolde in Bayreuth. Engaged at the Hamburg opera 1966-1969.
