Shearing Pinx are an Experimental/Punk rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Formed in 2005, the band is made up of Nic Hughes (Vocals/Guitar/Electronics) and Jeremy Van Wyck (Vocals/Drums/Electronics). The band has over 80 releases including vinyl records, cassettes and CDs, most of which are on the label Isolated Now Waves which singer Nic Hughes began and co conspirator JV_DUB has helped run since 2005. Having toured extensively through the US and Canada, visiting the UK and Europe a handful of times. After a brief hiatus with bandmembers soul searching around the globe and into the forest. The band now resides in Nanaimo, B.C. Fully erect and writing/improvising music for the cosmos for all to enjoy. A four piece since the winter 2022/23 with Izzy Ford (bass) and Martine Menard (2nd gtr/trance spirit)
