British flute & piccolo player. Born 1906 - Died 1980.
Member of the London Philharmonic Orchestra in the 1930s, the London Symphony Orchestra (1933-1936) and then Principal of the Philharmonia Orchestra on its formation in 1945. He moved to Los Angeles, California in 1948 and in 1950 he joined the MGM Studio Orchestra as Principal Flute. He also was Principal Flute with The Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra for over 20 years. He retired in 1973.
