Rainbow Rider is another syth/pop project from Ronnie Martin of Dance House Children. It follows a similar formula as the Dance House Children albums, with a noticeable growth in song writing but without the psychedelic numbers that Ronnie's brother Jason sometimes brought to the table. Ronnie has stated that Rainbow Rider is actually the name of the album, meant to be the third Dance House Children album, but many people were confused when the project was released. They mistakenly thought it was a new group called 'Rainbow Rider' and the name stuck.
