Real name: Alie de Vries
Alice May (Aaltje de Vries, Harlingen 20th of December 1954) is a Dutch singer-songwriter. Together with her sister Caren Wood (Doetje de Vries) she formed, in 1979, a duo called Maywood.She wrote most of the hits of Maywood. In 1995 the cooperation between the sisters ended with lawsuits and media fights.
She started a not very successful solo career and reformed Maywood in 2010, with Inge Peters.
