Effective period / Period of releases: 1990 - 1993

Blair1523 formed in Cornwall / 1988 by brothers George and Simon Harris, Scott Moyle, Alan Duke, Tim Huxley and Andrew Jenkins. After several fanzine publications, gigs around the country including the Electric Broom Cupboard in Sherborne and Camden Falcon in London they Signed to Wilde Club Records in 1990, whom released Blair1523s first EP. After the group split Voxx/Bomp released Beautiful Debris LP in the US also available as import This featured some tracks from the first EP and the groups second demo tape Slyde. This LP Came about due to Sonic Boom from the Spacemen3 playing Greg Shaw (Voxx) the recordings by the band. A recording from the final rehearsals has now become available via bandcamp. Info on the band is also now available via facebook page set up by members of the group (including cuttings and press fanzine coverage and images, sounds and videos).
