Local Ghost is an indie rock band from Bellingham, WA. They recorded 2 EPs and a full length album, MOMENTUM (OGS-004), between 2016-2017.
Elijah Watson (guitar, vocals), Taylor Merlina (guitar, vocals), and Tom McKay (bass) had been writing and performing songs together since childhood. In January of 2016, after the disbanding of their country group, Moongrass, these three joined with drummer Nick Robinson to form Local Ghost, a rock band focused on songwriting, groove, and emotional depth.
Their sound blends modern psychedelic and indie rock sensibilities with poignant songwriting and heavy influence from their dad’s record collections.
