Died: 14th August 2020 Donhead St. Andrew, Wiltshire, England.
Widely recognized as one of the most important classical guitarists of the 20th century. Many contemporary composers have worked with Bream and dedicated pieces to him, and he has also been successful in renewing popular interest in the Renaissance lute.
Appointed as OBE in 1964 and CBE in 1985.
