Real name: David Geoffrey Allen

Born in 1955, he played the bass in Gang Of Four until 1981. He later formed Shriekback, Low Pop Suicide, Dave Allen & The Elastic Purejoy, amongst other bands and founded the World Domination Recordings label.

Note: He shouldn't be confused with David M. Allen, sometimes credited as Dave Allen, engineer/producer/remixer for bands like The Cure, The Sisters Of Mercy, Human League or Depeche Mode.
