British sound engineer and producer.
Former boy soprano in the Choir Of St. Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh, he moved to France in 1976 to study music and musicology at the Sorbonne then worked for Pathé Marconi EMI from 1981 to 1984 as producer’s assistant and editor. Back in the UK he worked in digital editing and CD mastering at EMI Records, Abbey Road, London before joining Chandos in 1987 as producer and editor. He moved back to Paris in 1992 to work as producer at Erato. He is an independent producer since 2001 and founded the Strict Time music production company in 2004.
