Psychedelic rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, USA in 1968, initially under the name Sunlights' Seven. The band played various local gigs in southern California and soon changed their name to Sunlight. While their sole album appears credited to Creation Of Sunlight, the band never performed under this name. Their sound incorporated different aspects of their California contemporaries, such as the cheery nuance of sunshine pop and the harder-edge of acid rock. By the early 1970s, all members had left for college to avoid the American draft for the war in Vietnam, and so the group effectively disbanded.
