Founded by Jonny Oates; a 19 year old singer/songwriter.
Hailing from the North West of England, The Jonny Oates Band are a young rock/americana band bringing back the flavour and feel of days gone by. With a modern, raw twist and backed by wonderful musicians, Jonny draws from his influences (Springsteen, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Counting Crows, Marillion - to name a few) to create a very exciting and diverse sound. A welcome breath of fresh air on the current scene.
Recent highlights include two support slots for Big Country, a headline show at Dentdale Music and Beer Festival, a sold-out hometown show at Preston's New Continental, a sold-out show supporting BMCA's Horizon Act award winner Izzie Walsh, and the release of their brand new EP entitled Songs To Fill The Air.
