Rhythm & blues singer and drummer, died 1975.Tarrant had but one 78 as a main artist, recorded for Apollo in 1945, but was also a featured vocalist and well as a drummer with Jack McVea 1944-1947, and played drums behind other artists such as Wynonie Harris, Duke Henderson, and T-Bone Walker.
