Swedish actor and singer, born January 17, 1888 in St. Pauli parish in Malmö, died September 19, 1957 in Jonstorp parish in Höganäs municipality and buried in Jonstorp cemetery.

He was one of Sweden's most beloved film actors.

In the 1950's Edvard Person filled The Orchestra Hall in Chicago three times in two days. 21.000 spectators. That had only Enrico Caruso done before him. He performed 36 times during his USA tour. All sold out.
