Biography
Foden's Courtois Band
In 1997, Foden's Band (known until then as The Britannia Building Society Band) accepted new sponsorship from the French Instrument manufacturer Antoine Courtois that also allowed the band to use its original name of Fodens and became officially Foden's Courtois Band on 28 July 1997. The name was constitutionally modified to Foden (Courtois) Band on 24 February 1998. The sponsorship lasted until 2003, when the band became Foden's Richardson Band.
