Serbian schlager singer Leo Martin was born as Miloš Jović on march 6. 1942 in the village Rašica near Blace, Serbia. In 1967 while singing in Munich he was visited by CBS Records manager Bruno Anger who offered him a contract to record an album in english. His debut album "Let me stay" came out in 1968. He toured together with Mireille Mathieu, Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdinck and Salvatore Adamo. In 1969 he returned to Yugoslavia. In the '70 and '80 he was one of the leading schlager singer in YU. In 1973, he recorded his signature song "Odiseja" ('Odyssey') for PGP-RTB record label. The single sold 100,000 copies in the first week...
