From Houston where they were known as the Bedbugs. They returned to Houston from two years in San Francisco, hooked up with singer / songwriter John Casbarian, recorded a number of demos which came to the attention of Don Altfeld, who took the tracks to Los Angeles, and got them a deal with Mira Records. Mira then proposed a name change to Primrose Circus.
