Real name: Габриель Владиславович Воробьёв (Gabriel Vladislavovich Vorobyev)

Gabriel Vorobyev (1967 — 2015), mostly known as DJ Gabriel, was a Russian actor, musician, and a highly accomplished Goa trance/psytrance DJ, a founder of Chill Out Planet label/design bureau. He became interested in techno and acid house in 1989, performing at some of the first nightclubs in Saint Petersburg. In 1991, Vorobyev visited Goa where he encountered a psytrance scene for the first time. Gabriel brought numerous DAT tapes back with him, and had been actively popularizing this genre in Russia ever since. In the early nineties, he lived in London and collaborated with Spiral Tribe and Drum Club. Vorobyev met a promoter and producer XP Voodoo in 1994, and had been regularly performing at Aerodance nightclub in Moscow.
