Swedish lutenist, mainly active in England, born 16 October 1952 in Djursholm.

He performs as a soloist, in small and large ensembles, and as a conductor for ensembles with instruments in the lute and guitar family. He is known for the very first recording of John Dowland's collected works for solo lute, as well as for many first recordings of works that extend to the Renaissance period.
