Biography
The Warner Brothers
Effective period / Period of releases: 1964 - 1965
Members: Alfred R. Warner Jr., Larry Warner (3)
The Warner Brothers actually came by that name honestly, since lead vocalist/keyboardist Larry Warner and his brother, guitarist Al Warner, fronted the band. The other members were Kenny Elam on bass and Tommy Stovall on drums. They were from Peoria, IL. The group was a popular club band in the Chicago area, starting in the early 1960s and lasting over ten years, appearing in the mid-60s with the WLS deejays at record shops. They put out several other records, none of which charted. In fact, the only place this single seemed to chart was Chicago – and of course, Peoria.
