Mexican tenor, born 7 June 1958 in Mexico City, Mexico. Thanks to the quality of his voice, stage presence and charisma, the talented Mexican singer has been rated by critics as one of the best tenors in the world. He has worked with conductors like Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, Lorin Maazel, Charles Mackerras, Eduardo Mata, and Richard Bonynge.
He mainly sings Italian and French opera. He has more than 20 recordings, most of them on Telarc. He sings as well Latin popular music.
