Tamar Berk has been kicking around bands for years now, making a name for herself in a slew of Chicago and Portland, OR bands w/ releases on Kill Rock Stars, Minty Fresh, & Invisible Records. Now, she’s taking her years of experience & channeling them into solo albums having released “The Restless Dreams of Youth” to critical acclaim (nominated for Best Pop Album & Album of the Year in the San Diego Music Awards) and in April 2022 she released “Start at the End” landing two singles on NPR’s New Music Fridays playlist as well as getting a slew of national coverage and reviews, Tamar produces and engineers the majority of the recordings on “Start at the End” and continued her partnership with Matt Walker on drums (Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Filter, Morrissey) Sean O’Keefe at the mixing helm (Beach Bunny, Fall Out Boy, Plain White T’s) Matt Thomson (Maita) and Chris Davies (The Penetrators). In addition, “Start at the End” includes Rob Wrong on lead guitar (Witch Mountain) and Chris Marsteller on lead guitar (The Loons), and Allen Hunter (The Eels) on bass to complete an all-star line-up. Tamar is currently working on her third album.
