Dutch, in Brabantic, Folk singer born at 14 Februari 1947, died at 22 April 1995.
He started his music career in November 1979. He became one of the most famoust Brabantic singers.
After his death in 1995 there was made a award, the "Ad de Laat" award. Every year it will be given to someone who has done a lot for the Brabantic dialect.
In 2001 a statue of Ad de laat was placed in his birthplace Nistelrode.
