Yamase Matsuryo II
Real name: 木原良子 (= Yoshiko Kihara)
二代目 山勢松韻 (Yamase Shoin II)(January 20, 1916 - November 5, 2003)
Born in Tokyo. Her real name is Yoshiko Kihara. She was adopted by 山勢ふく (=Yamase Fuku), the fourth Iemoto of the Yamada School (=山田流), who was the adopted daughter of the first generation Yamada School master.
She studied under 初代萩岡松韻 (= Shoin Hagioka I) and 今井慶松 (=Keisho Imai), and in 1936 succeeded as the fifth Iemoto of the Yamada School and assumed the name Shoin Yamase II.
In 2000, he passed the Iemoto and the name to his sister and assumed the name 山勢崇華 (=Yamase Soka).
