The Shanes were a Swedish rock and roll band active from 1963 to 1969. The group played in various British and American-influenced styles, including R&B, Merseybeat, psychedelia, and instrumental pop.

The Shanes were very successful in their home country and had a number of top ten hit singles, including "Chris-Craft No 9", which reached second place there in 1967.

The Shanes also released a single in the United Kingdom on Columbia Records, "I Don't Want Your Love", but it did not chart there.

Members: Lennart Grahn (vocals), Tommy Wåhlberg (guitar,vocals), Kit Sundqvist (keyboards,guitar,vocals), Svante Elfgren (bass), Tor-Erik Rautio (drums).
