Dick Heard
Real name: Richard Martin Heard
American Country music producer and songwriter,co-wrote tunes with Elvis Presley and Eddie Rabbitt.
Also as president of Royal American Records in Nashville, he was instrumental in the careers of Freddy Fender, Jimmy Dean, Ronnie McDowell and Johnny Lee.
Born: 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Dead: September 8, 1998 in Columbia, Tennessee
